Sarah Schwerdtle is president of Panel Pro Technology, Inc. Prior to assuming leadership responsibility for PPT, Sarah directed business operations for a $3M manufacturer managing a 50-person organization including sales, production and administrative staff. Her 25 years of varied experiences in the machine/tool manufacturing industry coupled with a professional depth in all financial aspects of running a small business enable Sarah to bring end-to-end management talents to PPT.

Before graduating from Fairfield University with a B.S. in accounting, Sarah spent two years studying in Lima, Peru. This immersion in a foreign culture broadened her understanding of the global world in which we participate and equipped her with fluency in Spanish. Sarah continued her formal business education by attending the Goldratt Institute where she achieved the elite “Jonah” status. This program is based on Eli Goldratt’s published methodology on workflow constraints, continuous improvement and fundamental commitment to operational quality. Sarah’s work with the institute reinforced her passion for excellence and belief that an unwavering focus on product quality, customer service and on-time delivery is a pre-requisite for competing in a highly competitive, global environment.

Sarah’s professional affiliations include over a decade of Rotary International service including participation as a member of the Bridgeport Rotary Board of Directors for six years. Additionally, she served on the Board of the Connecticut Tooling & Machining Association for 5 years. Sarah remains active in various community service endeavors .

A lifelong resident of Fairfield County, Sarah currently resides in Easton, Connecticut with husband Hugh and their two dogs. She enjoys golf, snowboarding and spending time with her wonderful nieces and nephews.
